Students should know how to work in spreadsheets.

Exercise:1


1. Adding, Subtracting, Multiplying and Dividing using spreadsheet operators.


Exercise:2


2. Create a new spreadsheet and name it as ‘student mark sheet.ods’.
Use formulae to calculate Total, Average and Pass / Fail result.


Use this excel sheet to show the errors when you try to do some calculations.

  • Teacher's Instructions
    1. Teachers should explain the importance of formulae in Spreadsheets.
    2. Teachers should ensure that the students understand simple operations like Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, and Division.
    3. The students should know & the usage of the formula bar that is placed at the top left of the sheet.
    4. Show what errors we get when we do formulas either with empty cells or with invalid types. i.e. adding a non-number.
